I’m Sorry * Please Forgive Me * Thank You * I Love You
Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian spiritual practice based around the idea that anything we consider as “negative” is data (memories) we are holding onto, which we need to clean so our pure light can shine through.
All we need do is take responsibility for our experience and clean on it – we don’t need to understand it, we don’t need to know how it got there, we don’t need to take the blame, we just need to be willing to respond.
There are many cleaning tools available, with one of the most popular being the phrases, “I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You, I Love You.” Here we are first apologising to the data for holding onto it, then we are petitioning the divine to forgive us for holding onto the data, then we are thanking the divine for transmuting the data, and finally we are letting go of the data with love – opening ourselves to the divine.
While in a Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono class with Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len he was talking about the cleaning tool of ICE BLUE and this photo I took while on Franz Josef Glacier jumped into my head. I’ve now put it together with “I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You, I Love You” to create a beautiful cleaning tool!
