I received some items in a box the other day from my late uncle’s estate. As I was going through some old letters and papers I ran across some items that were very strange to me. you see my uncle was into old haunted house’s, ghost’s and such. I have never believed in such things, but what I came across in his items even boggled my mind. In the mid 1920’s he was investigating a house that was supposed to be haunted in Kansas City. I remember my father talking about it when I was a kid, he said my uncle went alone to the supposed haunted house to check it out; all he had with him was a camera. The next morning they found him out by the street completely out of his mind. All he would say over and over was “The Haunted is coming”….he never recovered. As I went through his belongings I found an old box camera and noticed that it still had film in it ….strange there was only one picture on it…… I thought I would share it with you my friends and see what you think.

    Whew, scary stuff Larry. Just in time for Halloween and all the Haunted creepies. Seeing an apparition like this would send me out into the street dazed as well. Loved the story line with this one too.

    Thank you DV for the comment, At first I get an idea in my wild brain, then I make the basic body form I do in Poser 6, then as I’m working on the pic the image kinda takes over, so what ever I had planed goes out the window. Some times I start the background and build around it or visa versa. I do alot of my lighting with Painter X, and all the post work is done in Photoshop CS with many, many layers.

    Hmmm…I was actually just telling Jeff Burns about this author, S. Andrew Swann (who also uses other pen names). He writes horror/fantasy that take place in and around Cleveland…between you and Jeff, you could totally do a graphic novel based on his creepy vampire books. He has this great book, “The Flesh, the Blood, and the Fire,” that’s about the torso murders from the ‘20s, except a vampire is doing it…...shivers….
