Superb UW image. Excellent light, tonal range, composition and behavior. Consider cloning of the ramp and boat above to eliminate any human object in the shot. The diver’s fins protruding from the fish right lip, are a distraction. Overall a well composed, spot on exposed image, but it need some work. :-)

Awesome Photo!! Great to be able to catch those shots under water. Have to ad it to my favs. Out of interest, what model of Canon was it he used. Am looking at buying at underwater camera and am not sure on the model as there is so much mixed feedback on models that take good photos.

Wow, awesome fish. Is is what is known as a “Sunfish”? And are those teeth I see in its mouth? Great image, especially the way the fish is centered in the sun!

Ratbag just said exactly what i was going to say. I have visited wally on a couple of occasions and seen many pics of him and i too think it is the best one i have seen. I would contact fantasia, that run the cruises out to see wally and his friends and see if they would be interested in buying this pic for their advertisements.

This is what i imagine the groper looked like who hung out around my dad’s tektite2 in
the bahamas where he and other scientists were studying. He said they used to brush the groper’s teeth and everyone was very fond of him and I can see why from this pic
