One of my very early photos of the British steam reality of the early 1960’s depicting ex- NER 0-8-0 Class Q6 63345 at a very run down Tyne Dock shed (South Shields). These powerful locos lasted to the end of British main line steam in 1968 and one is preserved in working order on the NYMR Line at Grosmont near Whitby.
