Just prior to this shot Brandy and I were talking and she was saying how much she missed her boyfriend (now husband). I know how that feels when you are doing something you love but the person you most want to share those times with isn’t there.

I had those thoughts in mind when I asked Brandy to adopt the pose and used the empty room to convey the sense of emptiness she was feeling at not being able to share the moment.
