My Child's Dinner Money

Arequipa, in the high Andes of Peru, one of the more affluent cities of the country. Blessed with industry and natural resources and tourism. Not all are so fortunate though.

As with most cities the world over, there is an under class. This poor famliy were not so well hidden from the tourists and business folk going about their business in the shadows of the Plaza de Armes.

You cannot solve ever problem on your travels, and money is often not the best to give. The small hand out of fruit I bought would only go a small way, but hopefully it helped for that day at least.
