    I really like it…it’s great!

  • Thanks Cary, I am really enjoying this series, the caravans take me back to my childhood in the north of England and those family holidays in an old caravan in the north of Wales. I just transposed that scenerio to the sunshine coast and all the grey nomads who converge here . cheers M

Michael, I love, love, love your Sheila and Bill paintings – and the little story you put with them. Especially this one. I had to laugh. Ps I wonder how the kids will react….. ;)

  • Well thank you very much, I appreciate the plaudits, I like dabbling in the absurd, many cheers, M

Oh my goodness – yet another fave! Your series is fabulous! I made a comment on another and I mentioned living down in Baja… which is Mexico (the long peninsula right below the state of California. Well, they’re both “California” – baja just means “lower” – and at one time, both belonged to Mexico. The US state is crowded, congested and over-developed while the lower part is mostly wilderness – and wild.) Oh, the stories I could tell (and you could illustrate! lol) I knew a lot of people just like this — came for vacation, sent for their stuff, never left again! This is just magical. It even looks like “home” to me (there was a lighthouse out across the water just like this). We did fist arrive in a rig (motor home) – along with 4 cats!! You have made me rather want to get another one and hit the road again! (Who said it was absurd?? I would have to call this absolutely real!) Wonderful! I love them all

  • thanks for the fave! Hmmm, the absurd comment belonged to “the girls night in” in that sheila was making herself beautiful for Bill’s return, even though he would be stinking of fish and beer, oh and that she is having a soak in a great big clawfoot bath in the caravan annexe with the flaps wide open…. thanks again for the great comments and I’m glad they made you feel like getting back to nature again, cheers, M
