Michael Jones

Living the dream on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. born in the UK, but arrived in Australia at the age of 12 with my family, lived in the burbs of sydney, worked as a builder with my father, until 1984, then joined the NSW Police force and was retired, hurt on duty in 1998.
moved to Broken Hill, NSW, and lived there for 3 years, then moved to Tasmania and opened my own gallery, lived there until 2003, married for the second time to a lovely Chinese woman, Sushu, then moved to the Sunny coast, where we have run a couple of businesses, importing furniture and artefacts from Indonesia and China.
this year we are having a rest from business and I am concentrating on painting full time, oh and a little bit of travel thrown in. well that’s me. I also have a website which is here I hope you like my work
