this was taken during a tour of Iraq, in Al’amarah. Some of the worst fighing occured while we were there.

For me the kid’s expression of anger and force, with the trooper in the BG makes it a wonderful and connected journalistic image. Thanks for adding it to the Art of the Middle East group.
