Glory

Well it’s been some of the weirdess weather here in Whistler and it’s put a hold on hiking/snowshoeing during our days off mostly with all the avalanche issues we are having therefore I’ve decided to post an image from one of our latest hikes up to Garibaldi Lake in this Provincial Park bearing the same name. You’ve seen other images of this area in my portfolio. All to say, it’s a 9km hike to this area (20km round trip) which takes about 7 hours of your day but the reward of seeing the moutain and it’s beauty it so worth it. This image was taken early Dec 2008, it’s an HDR image (composed of 3 images).

Seb, I am heading to Garibaldi park enroute to the Island this may, and you’ve made me so excited- this i a brilliant image, so jaw-droppingly, achingly beautiful in a way that only Canada can be. Aaaah, how am I going to make it until May???
