The view
Going back to this series of images I took about 2 weeks ago when my wife and I hiked up to Garibaldi Lake which is in Garibaldi Provincial Park. This hike takes about 7hours to cover and is about 20 km in lenght. It’s a pretty easy and mellow trail and very well marked, I don’t think anyone could get lost on this one. This image is taken from the campground located near the shores of this lake with this view , a series of differents glaciers and moutains.

This is simply stunning. I especially like the sky. Was there a lot of snow around to obscure the trail/? I know you said it was easy to follow but it looks like a wintery scene to me. Anyway, it is a great image! Liz

hi liz, i’ve done the trails often and i’d have to say, it’s pretty simple and very well marked, a trail marker each KM as it’s 9KM up so it can encourage you, or discourage depending on your speed, cheers

Nice HDR shot….I see you enjoy Garibaldi Park as much as I did. It has gotten quite popular and crowded but the scenery has remained as spectacular since I’ve first visited in 1976.

Well we pick our times to go, since we have early week off, we don’t encounter the usual weekend crowds but yes, you are right it is busy on certain days, cheers
