Streaming out
Went hiking/snowshoeing this weekend as the weather was actually good for the first time in a while and we decided to hit up Garibaldi Lake Provincial park which is just about 20 km south of where we live here in Whistler. All to say, it’s a 9km hike up to the lake which is located at 1400meters. Return trip and total hike is about 20 km and took us 7 hours but what a sight. The snow level was only starting at around 1100 meters and once at the top, we only had about 40cm of snow, great thing we had the snowshoes
This shot was taken at the exit of the lake at the top of the hike with the rivers flowing out towards the water.
My 3rd attempt @ HDR, still trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t with this kind of photos.

It is a wonderful shot. Great composition and clouds. What is this that you are trying to figure out. Just expose for the shot, don’t try to alter anything!

HI steve, actually just trying to figure out what works for HDR images and realizing that in certains instance i’m not getting what i want, seems to depend a lot of colors, lighting etc, so basically, just trying to figure HDR in general as it’s new to me and i’m having fun

WOO HOOO!! Well, I for one think you’ve got the HDR thing nailed. My camera doesn’t bracket, so it’s either haul out the tripod (which I detest) or wait until the economy turns and I can get a fancier camera, lol!! In the meantime I’ll enjoy the HDR produced by experts such as yourself!!!
