Season Greetings

wow! it reminds me of those tiny ceramic villages that light up. my mom and grandma set those out every year with fake snow and moving ice skaters and soundtracks of caroling and sleigh bells. what a wonderful little memory to evoke in the middle of June! :) :)

oh yes! and wonderful work with the processing. it looks wonderful but not fake at all; that’s not what i meant. :)

holly snow i have been to utah and never seen a cavin at night there i will love to go this year at sundance filme ffesival but this shoot is so cool mte i love to go ther and make a snow angel in the snow great capture mte love it

I had a bit of a connection with this image.
I grew up in the mountains in Europe so for me this instantly brought that comfort of Christmas and childhood memories back in one go. I still picture this image at Christmas time each year because this to me is the ‘season’. Heavy snow cover, inviting lights and the warmth that filters out of the log homes, I could go on….
Thank you for bringing back such fund memories!!! Christmas Down Under has a totally different felling, I’m putting this card in my cart now, you probably won’t get a sale until I pay for it but I bulk order to save on shipping.

I’ve heard it’s gorgeous…and your photography just proves that to be absolutely true!!!

Oooooh, this is just gorgeous! As much as I love the tropical beaches on Hawaii, there is also magic in the snow covered mountains and you have captured it just beautifully. I am inspired to try this up on Mt. RAINIER soon. This would make an outstanding Christmas card.

Wonderful shot Fremme! I can see what you mean when you say that the exposure was difficult. Not an easy shot to pull off and get really convey the feeling. The trick, I think, is in getting the light on the trees right—not too bright, not too dark. You got it just right! Congrats on your SOTW!
