Going for Gold
During the World Cup Giant Slalom here in Whistler, I was fortunate enough to be off work, have my camera and get a good vantage point. This was taken in Whistler during the 2007/08 World Cup season.

This photo makes me hear cowbells…. not sure if that is also a Canadien skiing thing, or just European?
Fantastic phtograph.

Being an ex ski racer myself, I know what you mean but in Canada we simply don’t have the same culture as European when it comes to racing, they are way more into it then we are.

Wow – your timing was just brilliant for this shot – you’ve captured so much here, the power, agility and speed – great work, I love it!

THE CLARITY, COMPOSITION, COLORS, DEMENSION, FREEZING THE MOTION AS YOU DID, THE EXPOSURE, YOUR DEPTH OF FIELD IS CRYSTAL CLEAR ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THE BLUE SNOW. Great Action Shot! Vivid color and a nice angle of view…not to mention a spot on exposure.
