Yeah :-/ I sent RB a suggestion as to how to leave us a description pane on the right margin, but I haven’t received any reply. Obviously, my layout would need some polishing up by RB gurus, but I still think it’s better as is than the new RB layout. Here’s my suggestion if you want to take a look.
I really dont like that half hidden descriptions,, a half framed images does not AT ALL look professional!! and moderating is hard enough without having to search for submissions that are following group rules, who has time for this nonsense,, not me!!! ok, I’ve vented,, feel better that so many of you agree!! xx
You’re right. And it even does not work at some configuration. At my computer (WinXP, Firefox 6.0) I can’t moderate my group, I can’t edit my works (unless I know the whole URL) and I can’t buy any prints, because the red buttons (and some other) do not work, and the drop down menus do not appear :(
Absolutely agree … was just thinking the same thing myself! It has lost the essence of the look of redbubble and its ‘brand’ … simplicity of look/design and use! Hope they realize their mistake … have found most of the improvements to be useful and good, but this one definitely does suck! In simple design terms alone. And isn’t redbubble supposed to be showcasing good design and art. Like I said, in effect a contradiction of the RB ‘brand’!
When you dont listen to your customers you start losing your customers. People have a habit of voting with their feet. Where did they get the bright idea for this layout??? Not from us, their customers, that is for sure ….
