Sooo perfect! I can see you have adapted the idea of K . I . S . SKeep it simple, stupid which was founded by a Danish multimedia manufacturer by the same name, now owned by Cisco through their brand Linkysys
Ty Christer…...I don’t just “keep it simple” but rather try to capture the essential lines of a given architectural piece to elicit thoughts/imagination about what the whole piece might be all about -
I didn’t know that about K.I.S.S. Hmmmmmmmm…..you sure do a great job of keeping it simple and impressing the socks off of us!! Beautiful shapes, wonderful shading.
Man Julian….you are one of my favourite photographers on rb and it is because of images like this. You can take something like this and make the most gorgeous piece of art out of it always acheiveing the best composition, light, and all around balance. Love it and another favourite of yours for me :)
Yep I’m with Shell on this one, you have definitely got an eye for framing the subject matter to bring out its inherant beauty and finesse, you have expertly captured the fluidity of Gehry’s work, the way he gently folds space. I’ve only manages a quick snap of one of his pieces in Barcelona here I so wish to return and take a decent shot
as a simple stupid builder this goes against every thing I learned in my apprenticeship to keep everything plumb level and balanced so this shouldn’t work but times have changed and moved on in spectacular style. As a photographer as well as a builder this is so moving it hits all the right notes in tone balance and texture and line and Julian you have pitched it just right, it’s a wonderful building without question and here you have brought out the very essence of the design, great vision my friend
KISS my ass!! Since when is minimalism simple?! The complexity here is part of what makes it work so brilliantly – the tension of the curving and straight lines within and against each of the shapes all of which juxtaposed with the deepening ascending tone of the sky. Like all geniuses Julian, you make it look “simple”.

Ooo, very nice Julian … wonderful positioning of the three elements, and use of shaded light. An instant Fav!!
