This is lovely Julian, despite the melancholy weather or maybe because of it, the two umbrellas give such a romantic feel to this image! Really great composition, love the symmetry of the figures and the trees and as always your keen eye capturing wondeful lines as well.

What a brilliant study in the genre that could only be called Escardo because you are the unique and peerless master of it. Ok the idea is brilliant enough but the composition and perspective and mirror-image angles of the path and the falling raing plus their complementing textures and colours.
