I truly like it as well. I like the concept, colours and atmosphere created.
I agree with everything said above!!
Very well done! :-)
Julian Escardo replied
You are very gracious with your comment Friederike. Thanks for liking the concept (that’s paramount to me at this stage) – and I like your new avatar!

you’re a graphic designer too?
Julian Escardo replied
Been waiting for your comment…....I dabble. Hi Mimi!
mimi yoon
if i suggest a few things, would you get mad at me? :P
Julian Escardo replied
Not at all…...that is why I said I have been waiting for your comment – go 4 it!

i love the color combination…
the back ground is gorgeous…
i love the square format, of course…
it feels a bit unstable… sculpture feels (it’s probably not, but feels) as if it’s leaning a bit to the left… it may be the positioning of the moon and the type… if it was my project, i would change the font to something more simple, elegant, and modern but classy… i am totally a times person (but that’s me)... i’d lose the dots in between the word woman and keep all of the type in one color and in straight line… reverse L is interfering the rest (a bit too much)... i feel the moon, the sculpture, and the title are all too proportionally even…
if i squint my eyes and look and not see the title… it’s gorgeous…
you need bam in an elegant way… or more like here i am… look at me…
don’t get mad at me, julian… xxxxxxxxxxxx
i figured it out… the reason why the sculpture looks as if it’s leaning… because it’s the taller piece of lines going upwards… upside down and reversed #7(created by connecting the sculpture and woman and moon) with the thing in the front (do you know what i mean?)... it appears that way… X)

Thank you so much Mimi…...I have to digest your words and work on your recommendations. I am glad I threw it out there so I can embrace these kind of comments – as I said, I dabble, but mostly I am very interested in the graphic side of design. Once again – thank you my friend. (fyi, I am going away a couple of days…..so gimme some time to work on this piece)

where ever you are going, have a safe trip and see you when you get back…
i know you’re not upset with me, julian, right? :P
and what i said is just my opinion…
have a wonderful trip… xxx
Julian Escardo replied
Hey, if you don’t throw it out there and take the hits, how does one learn? – I am indebted to you Mimi – thank you once again.
Anthony Mancuso
superb work Julian! Love the tone and presentation
Julian Escardo replied
So glad you like it Anthony…...thanks for coming by to see this piece!
Geoff Coleman...
No no no – couldn’t disagree with Mimi more on this Julian – I think it’s perfect as it is. The tension caused by the positioning of the moon really draws your attention to the theme – “Woman over Moon” not the other way around and the font and the dots couldn’t be better. DON’T TOUCH IT! Congrats on a brilliant design my friend.
Julian Escardo replied
You see?.........I take it from all sides Geoff – in the end I follow my instincts – I have to agree that there are some subtleties that I like I shall definitely keep, but I take all advice in good stride. I am so very glad YOU like it and that is important. Thank you my friend!

From concept to execution this works! Love the color, the position of the figure and moon and the square blockage! Very elegant ! Minimalism is so good in marketing and is perfect for this invitation. You get the point across immediately in a very professional manner!
Julian Escardo replied
I am so glad you like this one Joanne….....it has been a struggle and I am working on more as we speak – but this is valuable information, Ty!
