Ah, this one should be inthe group ’ a beautiful blur’. It is a very unusual and effective use of it, it really has depths to it!

Took me a few seconds to figure out what I was looking at – actually, the smaller version on the card was where I “saw” it. Lovely work – such a contrast to your architecture though the sense of fluidity and movement is always there. Im sure you are glad to be home, as I am!

Magical movement and I can feel the soul of the animal when I look at it! I love this so alive nearby almost abstracted subject Julian! Well done!

  • Julian Escardo replied

Capturing the soul is what I set out to do…....your comment and assertion of that fact makes me happy, especially coming from you Annemie…..thnx!

This is quite different and at the same time similar to your other work. You have reduced this horse down to essentials which you are great at, and yet highlighted it being a living thing with the capture of motion.
It has a spooky effect almost like seeing a ghost horse, does that make sense?
    Really quite extraordinary!

  • Julian Escardo replied

Perfect observation “reducing down to essentials” for it is exactly what I do with architecture…..Joanne you’ve made me happy with your comment – as per the ghost-like aspect, yes, I think he was…...lol
