Space Monkeys and Sun Gods
This colony of space dwelling apes is defending one of its outpost planets from a furious sun god. This recently uncolonized planet is home to a variety of flora and fauna including, but not limited to, goldhorn elk, kaleidograss, and of course, my imagination. The apes are using a suction/light powered tube launcher to lob kamikaze baboons toward their certain dooms. .. to save the world. There are two people, regular homo sapiens, watching on a couch made out of stone and grass, far from the action.
I found this one on CU Campus, so I’m glad I went back to school. I got a good series from this one. There is still some detailing/clean up left on this one.

wonderful planet you’ve found there. I love the kaleidograss :)

Thanks Deb, just don’t eat any of that grass…
John Fish
very cool. I love the stark high contrast along with the beautifully blended colors in the center which, I think must be the stone and grass couch. great work
Logan Fulcher replied
Thanks John. I actually see the stone couch in the bottom right, where, if you look imaginatively, you might see the back/side of two peoples’ heads. The blended colors in the center are really what caught my attention in this one. Multiple collisions for sure.

√ great contrasts of color! Love it!
Logan Fulcher replied
Thanks Jack. I made a canvas print of this one, and I lost a lot of the detail in the black, so I might have to lower that contrast a little. Glad you like it!

Very wonderful work FIP. I love your stuff – its not predictably the same like so many who post abstracts. There is a uniqueness in each one even though they fit within your style. Very nice!

Thank you so much Marguerite for the poignant comment. I like to keep it fresh and am always looking for new ways to spin the subject. I have some bigs plans for this weekend if it doesn’t snow.
