New version of Close to shore by Freda Surgenor

Currently unavailable for purchase

I have changed the foreground of Close to shore I felt that the rocks were too bright for the piece and pulled the eye away from the main subject. So, I have put the rocks underwater and feel that the main subject, the boat now stands up on its own without any distractions.

This painting is Windsor and Newton mixed media: watercolour and gouache on 300 gsm Arches stretched watercolour paper. Image size: 54 × 72cm

Thank you all for the faves, watches and kind comments, I really appreciate these
