Luna Park by Freda Surgenor

Luna Park by

This painting is a set of Windsor and Newton watercolours on stretched 300gsm Arches watercolour paper, is the final assembled composite.and represents the most famous of Sydney icons……….Luna Park.
The framed size is 100 × 80 cm.

Luna Park is a funfair in North Sydney which has been there for decades and has been closed and reopened quite a few times for various reasons.

The painting will be entered into the North Sydney Art Prize, at the end of July, where you have to represent some aspect of the North Sydney area- its people, landscape, character or spirit.

So I have chosen Luna Park as it has always excited me with its colour, interesting designs and busyness.
