This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas. I found this lovely old cup at a sale in a little country village outside Sydney when we were doing some much needed traveling. I couldn’t wait to paint it and teamed it up with my favourite silver teapot that I have used so many times.
Thank you all so very much for all the kind comments, faves and watches. I really appreciate these.
The cup is gorgeous, my wife has a small set of similar ones she brought back from Japan. As to your beautiful teapot, you’ve given us a different reflection every time it’s been used, so it’s like new each time. Wonderful painting Freda.
Thanks very much, Jim and I’ve realised now, I didn’t give it a title!!!

Perfectly painted Freda. I think that subtle iridescence in the cup is masterful.
