Riverbed by Freda Surgenor

Riverbed by

This painting is watercolour on stretched Saunders cold pressed medium, 600gsm paper.
The paint is all transparent Windsor and Newton watercolour.
I have used Windsor and Newton Masking fluid for the ripples.

This is a new activity for me, a sort of “off shoot” from the boats and water, I thought I would have a go at just water this time.

Thank you all so very much for all the kind comments, faves and watches. I really appreciate these.

I’ve always been in awe of your ability to show painted imagery beneath the water surface. This painting just amplifies that ability. So beautiful and skillfully done Freda.

  • Thanks very much Jim
