Old boathouse by

This is painted in watercolour on paper.

I love old working boats. These dinghies are at Sussex Inlet, in Southern New South Wales, Australia. I like the way things reflect in still water. Especially where the sun hits the side of the dinghies and sparkles here and there in the water. The boathouse looms dark over all this and adds a sort of abstract dimension to the work.
