Two miniatures by Freda Surgenor

Currently unavailable for purchase

These paintings are acrylic on stretched canvas.

The painting on the left is called Mint tea and was bought two years ago by a Sydney client at a local art show.

Recently, she asked me to paint a companion for the first painting and I painted the one on the right, called Chinese vase.

This was an interesting break from the very much larger Venice paintings, the largest of which are nearly one metre. Each painting is only 10×10 cms.

Hi Freda, these miniatures are delightful.
I have dabbled in miniatures of late and am hoping to put in a submission for membership with the Australian Miniature Society in October.
    Your watercolours are just stunning.
I have been painting in watercolours for around 18 months now and i am addicted as well as frustrated.
    Your works are inspirational.
