After the rain
This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas.
We went to the movies at Sydney Harbour and when we arrived, the rain was pouring down. I was struck by the sparkling reflections on the esplanade and the softness of the colours in the distance. I rushed to get my camera and quickly took photos before it stopped.
I have used warmer colours than the photo showed, creating the feeling of the sun behind the clouds, just about to break through.
