Time for tea

This painting is a miniature acrylic on stretched canvas and is only 10cms. square. It’s such a relief to do a tiny painting after the last three which were nearly a meter square!

how lovely! this has a ‘quick, easy’ feel to it, like it almost fell out of the end of your brush. it has a slightly surreal quality, as though Rene Magritte is standing just out of frame with an apple for a head…
is this part of a series…you could do all kinds of colours etc. love it love it love it!

Freda, I love the color pattern on the tea cup and plate and how your ever brought it out more with the reflections on the tea pot. Very effective.
