This is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas.
Cloossonne ware is quite modern, based on traditional designs coming out ot China. The pot is made from copper and the colours are enamel, set into fine wire.

Wow, this is absolutely amazing! The shading of the flowers and the reflections of the light are perfect. I have a cloisonne vase that looks very much like this one that I bought in Okinawa. I’m curious…how long does it take you to do a painting like this, with so much detail? It’s time well spent!
