Showing love to my family
is my service for Christ.
Even doing the dishes,
while I throw out the trash.
I start out early each day,
with so much to be done.
Rush to make all the beds,
in this journey I run.
Everyday seems the same,
as my list grows with chores.
Like sorting four loads of laundry,
as I clean and mop all the floors.
For in the weight of these duties,
I sometimes wonder who cares?
Then a voice deep inside me,
say’s it’s a crown you must wear!
A special crown just for me Lord,
to adorn through this flight?
Yes, a crown meant for you dear,
who serves both as mother and wife!
A poem of encouragement for homemakers♥
