"Freedom Lies Silent"

Freedom lies silent,
in the death grip of greed.
As it screams for release,
from hell’s tormenting deeds.

The eye’s of their souls,
now vaccant of light.
Only darkness prevails,
in the abscence of life.

The seeking of wealth,
thru industrious means.
Emptied houses of parents,
and children their dreams.

Vanities slay families,
that once knew a future.
As the mammon of youth,
is now filling their coffers.

Their lives now scattered,
as every man’s for himself.
Their mansions are tombs,
for the mounting of wealth!

"Freedom Lies Silent" by

This piece of poetry best describes the condition and depravity of family life in our materialized world. It will never be worth the cost over time. The family is foundational to all healthy productive societies. This is simply my attempt at dealing with what I believe to be the most important issue of our time.
