I first saw this doll at a local discount store. I fell in love with her instantly but didn’t feel the price was anything I could afford. Several months went by and whenever I stopped at the store I would look at her and contemplate whether or not to buy her. The doll had meaning for me only because I was blessed to have raised a little indian girl from the time she was four months old untll she was four years. I’m not a doll collector, but this doll captured my attention for obvious reasons, As you can see I finally did purchase the doll and have her carefully stored in my closet. I do take her out to enjoy her on occasions and this happen to be the day I took out my camera. I hope you enjoy her beauty as much as I do!

I have discovered through art, that life with all of it’s complexities can find a sweet fragrance of release through the creative process. For me it is a labor of love and sweet joy. Thank you in advance for taking the time to view my work~ Barbara

WOW…how arrestingly beautiful she is !! She’s just gorgeous, so real looking, no wonder she captivated you for so long. Love your treatment and the nice close shot, thanks for sharing, a real delight.

  • Thank you coffeebean, she really is lovely doll and believe the may be German made. She is hand signed but infortunately her original packing was gone when I purchased her. Anyway I wanted her because she reminded me of my daughter in love, Pinki……………..thanks for commenting on her, Barbara

wow she is a stunning doll . I love hiw you captured her eyes and the lighting on her hair. You are blessed to have been able to help a little girl grow. :)

  • Thank you Therese, I simply love her. The little girl I raised is grown now and a mom herself. We are still very close, she calls me Mimi. Her real mother left her dad and abandoned her at two months of age. Her dad was wise to see the child needed the nurturing of a mother and I was blessed to be the mom she needed…………..thanks for your lovely comment, Barbara
