Throw Pillows available on Easy Button

Announcement
May 2, 2014

NEW. Throw Pillow Option on Easy Button.

The Throw Pillow option is now available on the Easy Button. (RB URL 2 Image Converter).

The main image is so large (875×875), that I opted for a smaller image (550×550). However, you might notice that the artwork is shown slightly different on the smaller image, possibly not centered as you created it. I have no idea why this one would be different than the large one.

The option is there if you want it. Remember, that there will be no preview and no code, if throw pillows are not available for that particular work. Instead, an error at the top of the page will let you know that this product is not available.

Enjoy!

Those of you who know and use the “Easy Button” for your own pages or for hosting, know where to find it.

Here is an example from the conversion tool, with the pricing option as well as the title and artist option checked.

You may need to refresh your bookmarked page to bring the new code into the Easy Button page. Throw Pillow is in the “Imprinted Products” section, below the T-shirts.

Thanks, Frannie, been playing around with uploading some things to see how they look as pillows. Not sure I will sell any but it’s fun to try it out on private view and see what it’s like.

  • It is fun to try them out. I can see where pillows could be a hit. Also the cover only, and stuffed, are great options.

Will the cushion be an option from an already uploaded image?

  • Yes, it’s available in the Easy Button, as long as you have made it an option for that already uploaded image. Is that what you mean, Clare? If you go to your uploaded image’s edit screen, there is a section below the iPhones and Clothing, etc. for Throw Pillows. You will need to upload the same image again into that section, and then set it into the template. Once you get it like you want it. SAVE. Then it will appear as a purchase option on the same image along with the Print options. Everything seems together, to your visitors. I hope that answers your question.

Wow Frannie, this is fabulous news…

  • It’s a fun option. I’m envisioning your watercolored roses on pillows. Beautiful.

Thank you for updating this so quickly – and those orchids and wind make a cool throw pillow!

  • You’re welcome, Kasia. :) Thanks, I think the window orchid makes a pretty pillow, too.

Frannie, not sure if you would know the answer to this, but is the reason for the stuffed/unstuffed option a shipping advantage also? I would like it better to get one ready to use, but if the shipping on stuffed ones is much higher, I could just find the insert here in a fabric store, assuming they are standard sizes. I know zip about pillows, if someone could screw up stuffing a pillow I could.

  • Cindy, I did a test run with the cart, cover only and cover with insert. The cover with insert is $5 more in shipping cost. There was an $11 difference in the total between the two, including shipping. It would cost you I would say between $7 and $11 for an insert for the size I priced at RB (16 × 16). Crate & Barrel has a feather down insert, for $10, for example. You can get a poly insert the same size at Joann’s for $6-7. Hope that helps. Stick with a regular insert, where the pillow insert is stuffed and sewn for you. Then you simply stick it in the pocket and that’s it (hopefully). What I mean is that you can buy polly fill, but I don’t advise it.

  • Just wanted to update. Since you have purchased pillows by now, you may have a great place to go for inserts. But I did not have a Crate and Barrel or a Joann’s close by and went to Bed and Bath, Target, and finally Michael’s. Target had nothing, Bed and Bath only had the largest inserts and Michaels had it all. But 16 and 18 in. inserts were something like $11 and $12 respectively. The RB extra pricing and shipping didn’t look so bad after that experience. :) I did return the 16 in. and buy the 18 in. to fit into the 16 in pillow, so it had an overstuffed look.

The prices here are very affordable by comparison to Zazzle where I sell pillows..I might bring my store here but have not decided…thanks for the change to the button..

  • You’re welcome, Janis. That’s interesting about the comparison to Zazzle, and good to know! Looks like a great product.

Thanks, Frannie, that’s good to know! Sometimes it can be hard to find the ready made pillow inserts the right size. Before I order a pillow cover, I’ll see what the stores really carry. That is quite a difference in shipping, not surprising though.

  • I would think any sewing store should have them, also craft stores, possibly Bed & Bath.
