I see it’s a massive painting, by the photo of its home on the wall.
Superb digital art. I’ll have to find a course to learn this – but looks a bit hi-tech for me. I’m still grappling with the ancient art of brush and paper!

Well, Colin, it looks more massive than it is. But I would love to be able to print it at that size. The illusion comes from using “interior” stock and plugging in a framed image of my art at any size that I like. And I like it BIG!! :D (In actuality, it’s 20×30 inches, or 50.8×76.2 cm, at 300 dpi, hovering on the cusp of the 2 GB max file size for my computer for the raw psd file in which all of the layers are created.)

The way you handle your “ancient” art is nothing short of fantastic, Colin. I’m honored that you commented on mine. Thank you.

Yes, I think the model’s curly stick was originally intended to be transformed to a snake. That was obvious to me too. But decided to keep it as a stick, not to confuse the emphasis, here. ;) Thanks.

Yes the model was great to her credit and her photographer’s. For me, selecting stock models is part of the process, just like selecting colors and textures. This one actually inspired this entire theme and piece. Thank you, Gary, very much.

Powerful! My first impression of this image was as a testament to the courage and resilience of women!
