The Answer work incorporates Other Skies, which was inspired by Tim Scullion’s photograph,Explosion of Color, and used it as the foundation for shapes, color, and title; along with two of my own artworks.

I love this slightly off-centred. reflected figure. you have fine eye for the aesthetically pleasing subject arrangement.

I too have a science background – but you wouldn’t think it with my ineptitude with html, etc. Before my time! I can’t even put in a copy and paste, visitor number counter on my bubblesite!!

Colin, no rush on the replies at all. In fact, this comment is reply enough! I’m sorry you’re in pain today.

As to x/html, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java, etc. (web languages) they are an acquired taste. One must either really be into them and have a reason to create, or just use from html what you need to get by.

You will need a counter of the “image” type (as opposed to a JavaScript variety) for your RB web page. RB (probably wisely) allows only limited html, and that only through a non-html format that is totally cryptic.

Not to be too technical, but an image can actually point to a script that does the counting. That’s with a little programming voodoo. Some counters offer that, while some only offer JavaScript. Follow the links on other RB users’ respective counters to find those that have a workable option. bmail me if you have a question on one in particular; and maybe I can take a quick look and give helpful input.

Thanks for mentioning the reflection as a bit askew! lol. You are the first to mention it. That was an important element (for me, anyway) in this art. To me it represents not a real reflection, as I could easily have portrayed realistically correct reflection; but the bigger reflection of the mind that, although based on reality, encompasses other perspectives, including the emotional plane. Liz, I just added you to my watchlist. Your paintings are beautiful. I take it you don’t have Photoshop or Elements or some such program. If you ever do or want to dabble, I have a journal with some how-to videos, not particularly for beginner-beginners though.

The features posted are just links. But if you don’t know how to make links, you can still just go into your image “description” by clicking on the “edit” link, then simply list them in your description. RB has some “text fomatting help” links under most places where you can add content.
