Most of my work is done indoors using Canon equipment; a tripod and remote shutter release. My best work is done in the dark; no windows or room lights.

I attempt to use a “painterly” light application by brushing light in small quatiites onto the subject as the camera records my work.

I use a variety of kinds of light including blacklight, LED , small spots and occasional camera flash.

Some of my images show reflected light, some translucent through glass images and some direct light applied to the camera sensor. Many of my images display a combination of light types which requires an understanding of how different light works and how the camera sees it.
