Well.... I'm soooo excited....

It’s been a while since my last confession, but that’s because I’ve been busy “sewing seeds” as they say. What’s she on about about, well come closer and I’ll tell you.
As most of you may have gathered from the amount of photos I’ve uploaded…. I’m never without my little Olympus SP-350. It’s become a fifth limb for me.
OK. so here’s what happened… I get taken out to lunch on Valentines Day… yeah hubby did right by me and treated me to a lovely fishy few hours with some nice bevvies thrown in…anyway, whilst nattering between ourselves, as you do on a day dedicated to Love (even after many moons together) I notice that the decor in the restaurant has changed since we last visited. Suddenly, without warning (that happens regularly to me ) a light bulb switches on in my little old brain, and an idea pushes quickly and forcefully to the forefront and says…Hey Val…Why not ask if they exhibit photos as well as paintings… and even better why not ask if they’d be interested in you…. Who moi I instantly reply… ?... Yes, dear… you!!
Heart in mouth and in my best Italian, I form the question and give a little smile at the end as I wait patiently for an answer…. Well, my face lit up seconds later showing all 2000 thousand of my teeth…OK maybe I’m exaggerating, but you get where I’m coming from. Not only was it a positive response as I showed them some of my latest shots on my trusty SP-350 but also they offered me not one but two months at my disposition!
So there you have it. I’ve just been booked for a Photo exhibition the whole month of May, with an option for June. I’m so excited, I’m almost wetting my pants… I’ve been working on selecting my best shots – about 20-25 which will be on display at any one time, and talking to printers with ideas to get them printed on different mediums. I’m also working on my photoshop skills, to give some shots that “arty farty” look to spice things up even further. So wish me luck Peeps and wish me loads of sales, as they’ll also be available for purchase.
