Le Petit Vendangeur (The Little Grape Picker) by

Acrylic on canvas 40×30 cm

This is painted from a photograph kindly sent to me by Corinne Pouzet a superb watercolourist also here on Red Bubble.

This is one of a series of paintings for an exhibition at a wine festival in St Sornin in the Charente department of France.

Absolutely fantastic, a brilliant painting and a the child is a real little ‘smasher’. I really like this Fran, Well done!

  • Thanks so much Jorja! It was NOT easy! I’m still looking at it at thinking I might have to tweak it a bit!

Wonderful detail, and his face, those eyes!

  • Thanks a lot Marriet. It’s funny, but the eyes were the easiest thing to do. The rest gave me a real headache! But he’s cute isn’t he?

I honestly can’t see where you could tweak it to improve it to look any better than it already does Fran

  • Maybe his hair’s not finished. I never know when to stop!
