About Richie Francis

I am an engineer by profession and live in Perth, Western Australia. I love listening to jazz music. From time to time I feel the impulse to draw so I pick up a pencil and draw portraits of people. I started drawing portraits in 1999 for a brief period and then really started to get into it in 2005, while I was studying art in yr 12.

I have always loved drawing, because it gives me a great sense of satisfaction seeing something coming to life.
