They look so cute .. as if they were rugged up against the cold. It is a shame they are in captivity.

The Pelicans were wet as they had just finished playing in the water the female (front) was chasing the male then they settled down together to dry out, it was a warm day
Unfortunatley they are highly endangered and are captive for breeding purposes

These are a pair of Great White Pelican found at Combe Martin Wildlife Park North Devon England
They originally breed from southeastern Europe through Asia and in Africa in swamps and shallow lakes
Unfortunatley this species has declined greatly through habitat loss and persecution
