Artist's Description

This is a view from Veterans Memorial Park, on the west bank of the Saginaw River, towards the east bank and Wenonah Park. where tall ship Appledore IV is docked. This is near downtown Bay City, Bay County, Michigan, US.

Appledore IV is a steel-hulled gaff rigged schooner launched in 1989. It’s owned and operated by BaySail, with the home port in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan, US.

I used Corel® Painter Photo Essentials 4 to ‘paint’ my original photograph. Normally, I do not edit my photos very much. Mostly I’ll simply straighten, crop, then use a one-step enhancement.
