I was driving down the Hume Highway near Yass NSW and saw this canola field. I was struck by the vivid yellow, green and blue of the scene and thought it might make a good panorama.

A long time ago the beautiful old eucalypt trees would have covered this hill in a muted olive colour and it would have been home to thousands of native birds and other animals. Now, as you can see, only a few of these trees remain.

Hi,

I love photography, travelling, native Australian flora and fauna, cycling and most other sports too. I also like landscapes and cityscapes.

I hope these interests are reflected in my portfolio.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like my work.

Cheers
Fran

  • Cheers Tony – I’m glad you like it! One good thing about all the rain is that there’s plenty of green around for a change. Thank you for your lovely comment. Fran
