This Black H’mong woman was doing her embroidery by the side of the dirt road which leads to the Red Dao village of Ta Phin, near Sapa in northern Vietnam.

The terraced hillsides on this hike were fantastic – I love the golden colour of ripening padi.

I love photography, travelling, native Australian flora and fauna, cycling and most other sports too. I also like landscapes and cityscapes.

I hope these interests are reflected in my portfolio.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like my work.

What gorgeous countryside! A great spot to sew, and such a unique sight! A reminder of how different the pace of life is from country to country!

  • I really appreciate your lovely comments Angie and I agree – there’s certainly something to be said about their way of life. Kind regards, Fran
