Strong emotion in this photo. Theres a sense of long lost time and love. The soldiers face has a pleading expression almost as though he’s the ghost of the unknown soldier and he is asking the viewer to deliver his last letter to his loved one. Even if it is a comp, it shows you have put time into something that you obviously feel very strongly about. Well done fracturedfotos, a lovely tribute to the ANZACS.

This is such a haunting image and brings so many old songs to mind.

I simply think this is a masterpiece.
If I only had some money I would buy it right away.. But I can’t.. Unless someone buys some of my pictures? (hint) :)

I hate the use of the term ”...just a comp.” I think the flexibilty of photoshop et al is taking us into a new realm of artistic expression and I think your work is a striking example of this. Overcoming the technical details of lighting * logistics to achieve the same result in just one photograph is not where the artistic skill is. The skill is in the vision not the mechanism used to share the vision with others. Thanks for sharing your vision. I am really enjoy the anticipation of waiting to see your next work.

this is fantastic. My grandad died in the war and I have around 150 of his letters so this pic means a lot to me!
