The story behind the image;
I was stopped at a service station @ Gatton on the way to Toowoomba when I noticed this field. Beside me was a cattle truck, so I waited till the driver came out of the servo and asked him would he pose for this photo. He thought it very strange, but kindly grabbed his hat and stepped out into the field.
The sky was added during pp and was taken near home one afternoon when Brisbane lost power to thousands of homes.
The image hit Explore on Flickr and I have since had an email from Mark saying he now knows what I was banging on about. The most pleasing thing was that his Mum left a comment on Flickr saying that this was her son and she was so proud of him – not because of the photo, but because she just was. That was the bit I loved.
