Thanks guys. It’s a composite of three images. The background was taken from an office of the 23rd floor in Brisbane and the plane is seen hanging in the Brisbane Museum.
@ Amanda: The most difficult part of the image Amanda was isolating the plane and that took me about one hour as I used the “Eraser” tool within Photoshop. All up I guess a couple of hours. I also mucked around a fair bit with the image as I wanted to do a couple of things; A) Give it an older type feel, hence the sepia and the grain B) I also didn’t want the plane in focus as it would not have seemed real. I would have given the plane motion blur but Photoshop kept crashing when I went to use that filter.
yes, this often happens outside my office window, just before tea time. I hadn’t thought much about it but now i can see what’s happening here.. just kidding, awesome shot and great work
