Fabulous work, Jeff…..the detail here is wonderful, and trying to work out what they’ve used those various arches for is interesting too. The first staircase on the right is so steep!!!
Thank you all for your comments. I wanted to try and copy a style that when I was a kid my Dad gave me a “Coles Funny Picture Book” and in the drawings if you looked hard enough you saw other images as well.
The brick wall is actually diagonally across from borders book store and is butting up to a vacant plot they are going to build on. I had taken the image of the wall and the stairs to nowhere some time ago and often wondered what I could do with it.

Curious how you represented past, present, and future, with the past as architecture, the present as Self, and the future rosy-Paradise…
Akira
Wow, love everything about this piece. Great work!

@ Elena Ray: Yep it’s a real wonder why I didn’t have a black crow in there somewhere.
The centre arch is a woman from The Valley who dresses up as Monroe. She’s strange but nice. The girl is my daughter. Go figure LOL.

@ martinilogig: Hopefully my image is not seen as dark as Gigers LOL.
