Short story behind this is basically about a young but talented Elfin girl from her snow tribe who has the power to control the elements and may also have the ability to control Ice Dragons who endanger her land, unless she alone can master her Powers in time.

But in order to do this she must find the legendary Dragon Master who can train her and so begins her journey.
