Technology Attack is a series that I submitted for a photography assignment at Uni last year.
The assignment had to be based on the theme of identity, and so I tackled the project in an abstract manner and focussed on the idea that an over-reliance on technology in modern society may be having detrimental effects on human’s sense of personal identity and relationships with others.
The first half of the series expresses a domination of different forms of technology and the isolation that is caused on the subject as a result. In the second half of the series, the subjects rebel against these technologies in an aggressive and barbaric manner, reclaiming the sense of identity and individuality that had been lost.
I am very proud of this series; however I welcome any feedback or comments.
