Hope Whispers by Louise Parton

Hope Whispers by

There seems to be a few versions of this quote – They either start with ‘when the world says ’give up’, or ‘when your mind says ’give up’.

I chose the latter because even when the world is cheering me on, sometimes it’s my own demons, fears, and self-doubt that holds me back.

The original background to this digital collage is gouche & glitter on a little piece of handmade paper. Layers of other stuff and text were then added in Photoshop. I’m also working on a similar 3″×3″ collage in a little glass block – Photo to follow.

For my dad, who reminded me life is too short and too precious to not be following my dreams – I miss you x

This is just wonderful and so fitting at this time. When your mind keeps you from sleep and those doubts come in. A fav.

  • ah, insomnia has a way of letting those demons in doesn’t it? thank you karen x
